Very nice wall shelf! The stability seem good (time will tell). The bed is nice and soft and the thickness is genuine. Great for an average cat, if you have an extremely large cat depending on how they curl up they may fit. Or if they are just sitters it could work for them as well. I liked it so much I just ordered another.

Paired with a climbing pole and some steps, this perch makes a great landing for my boy. He even chases his tail in circles up there!

I really like this shelf and its quality is very good. But when I went to put it together and mount it on the wall, I was horrified to see 2 out of the three screws going from the backboard into the shelf had in fact come out and we’re not holding the backboard correctly. I poked an ice pic down into the holes. One went straight down, which was good, but the other two did not go straight down as evidenced by the screw coming out. I will try to take a picture and include it here. I’m a week past the return date and realize I should have put this together sooner. I’m 81 years old and time passes so quick you don’t realize it has gone by, and then it’s too late. But, I am hoping the folks who sell these can help me with how I can fix this and my cat can use it after all. I hope to hear from you with any help you can give me. Thank you so much. Julie K.

Good shelf if you don’t have a lot of space. My 11lb Persian can use it. It’s on the smaller side so I worry they might fall off, however, it’s all I could do in my small space (home office). Overall we like it and the cats use it everyday. We painted ours black to match the furniture (used paint, staining didn’t work too well). We mounted one side into wood, but the other two holes are in drywall. My husband used his own anchors without any problems and it’s holding fine after a week of normal usage.
