Orvis Portable Dog Travel Water Bottle | 25oz Stainless Steel with Built-In Bowl

It’s truly well made but it’s a little too bulky for me and for my traveling preferences. Both my dogs are small breeds weighing around 10lbs and they don’t like to drink much water when we go out. They only like taking a few sips and that’s it! I really wanted to keep it because I have the matching Orvis collapsible travel dual bowl which has served me so well - but I will be returning it. This water bottle is ideal for bigger breeds because it carries 25oz of water. I would just ask Orvis to make a smaller and narrow one, anywhere between 10oz -14oz. That would work much better for me and probably many other dog owners who have smaller breeds. It would make traveling with it less clanky and cumbersome. The color and design is beautiful / unique which I like - my only issue is with the screw top lid. If there is a way to modify it where I don’t have to unscrew it but it would pull out instead and water can flow into the lid - that would make all the difference. It would make it way more efficient, convenient, and easy to travel with. Other than that, I think it’s thoughtfully made and may meet the needs of other dog owners with bigger breeds.

I think this is a fantastic product. I’m a traveling Fence salesman so I bring the dog with me on long hauls and she enjoys cold refreshing water all the time. We also take it on long hikes. What isn’t used can be poured back into the bottle. Highly recommend.

Great container and healthier to use than a plastic bottle. It keeps dog’s water colder.

When the dog drinks out of the lid, when you screw the cup back on all the slobber goes into the container.

This works well when traveling and you want to keep your dog's water cool. The top becomes the "bowl", which means when you replace it on the container, you have a wet water bottle. I've ended up keeping a small bowl in the car, that I can pour her drink into.

We love this when we go hiking and take our dog. It’s so easy to give him water on the go and don’t have to add an actual water bowl to the packing list!
