Paired with a climbing pole and some steps, this perch makes a great landing for my boy. He even chases his tail in circles up there!

I really like this shelf and its quality is very good. But when I went to put it together and mount it on the wall, I was horrified to see 2 out of the three screws going from the backboard into the shelf had in fact come out and we’re not holding the backboard correctly. I poked an ice pic down into the holes. One went straight down, which was good, but the other two did not go straight down as evidenced by the screw coming out. I will try to take a picture and include it here. I’m a week past the return date and realize I should have put this together sooner. I’m 81 years old and time passes so quick you don’t realize it has gone by, and then it’s too late. But, I am hoping the folks who sell these can help me with how I can fix this and my cat can use it after all. I hope to hear from you with any help you can give me. Thank you so much. Julie K.

Good shelf if you don’t have a lot of space. My 11lb Persian can use it. It’s on the smaller side so I worry they might fall off, however, it’s all I could do in my small space (home office). Overall we like it and the cats use it everyday. We painted ours black to match the furniture (used paint, staining didn’t work too well). We mounted one side into wood, but the other two holes are in drywall. My husband used his own anchors without any problems and it’s holding fine after a week of normal usage.

All I can say is the cat likes it. We mounted it on a cat wall with several different pieces working together.

These cat shelves are great!! They are very easy to put up, but I do recommend using the heavy duty toggle screw in plugs for the screws. My cat loves that he can now truly rule!

Excellent addition to our living room! Looks 1000% better than a cat tree carpet perch and matches our couch.

The cutest little perch for our cat. It took her a few days to warm up to it and now it’s her new favourite spot. It’s seems pretty durable and was definitely worth the money to see her so comfortable on her perch instead of the thin railing. The only con is we needed to find a stud finder to make sure it was secured in.

This is the ideal cat wall shelf. I do a lot of research before making purchases like this, and I am glad I went with this one. It hangs right above my couch, and it feels very sturdy so I do not have to worry about it falling on my head. It has a very clean appearance from below, with no visible hardware. I wish it had more wood finish options, but overall the natural wood looks nice, and I have seen several other reviews where people painted it themselves. The cushion is soft, and my cats always compete for who gets to sit on it. I was worried about the size being too small, especially since I have one cat on the larger side slightly over 13lbs, but both of them fit on it no problem. I would highly recommend getting 1 or 2 of the screws into a stud, I was lucky and 2 studs lined up, and it has been very study. I would be very nervous if I only had 0 or 1 screw in a stud, and would definitely make sure to use my own quality wall anchors. Otherwise it has been amazing and I would highly recommend.

So far so good. Kitty loves it. It is a good size for my small female. The male is a bit too big. It gives her a nice (much deserved) break from the puppy.

My cat loves it! I highly recommend getting better drywall screws though. Ones that came with came out of the wall in about a week. I will note that my cat is about 11lbs.

I love this little cat shelf. It looks nice and has Velcro for the cushion. Feels high quality sturdy ~ was easy to put together and hang. Will probably buy another one !

Update: Well it didn’t last long. It started leaning and coming out of the wall. The anchors were not big/strong enough. We will try buying some better ones (but wish we didn’t have to).Original Review: The base didn’t look sturdy (it is small) so I didn’t know if it would stay on the wall when my sons’ cat jumped on. But it does seem sturdy when he gets on it. He is an average size adult cat. I painted the wood so it would match my twin sons’ beds, black wood with gray fabric headboards. It is between their beds and looks good. He watched us installing it, as if he knew it was for him. He immediately got on it, and has been on it almost constantly for several days. I plan to update later, whether it is sturdy long-term or not.

The cats love their new bed. We originally ordered two, but one broke when we put the screw in. So we are shipping that one back and getting another one. This one did split a little when the screw was placed, but not enough to damage the structure. The wall anchors are not our favorite, so we used our own and made sure one screw went into a stud. The mounting is stable and the cats can jump up and down with ease. The cats absolutely love the bed. They actually fought to see who got to lay in it first. They will be so happy when the second one comes!

Very nice wall shelf! The stability seem good (time will tell). The bed is nice and soft and the thickness is genuine. Great for an average cat, if you have an extremely large cat depending on how they curl up they may fit. Or if they are just sitters it could work for them as well. I liked it so much I just ordered another.

It looks fine, but you need more hardware than what is provided and an engineers input to mount this where it wouldn't fall right off the wall under the weight of a normal-sized cat. The wobble caused by my smallest, an 8 pound cat, was enough to keep her off it for good.

My cats love this shelf and its cushion, an instant hit. Relatively easy to install with very long screws and certainly seems secure.

The anchors and screws were incompatible. I installed the shelf following the instructions, but the screws were too thin to snuggly fit into the anchors. I had to immediately take the shelf down because it is unsafe for my cat. I need to go to the hardware store and purchase new screws. Other reviews mentioned the anchors are not secure either so I will also purchase those. The shelf looks nice so I’m hoping to make it work but very disappointed that the hardware does not work for the installation.

My cats seem to like these over the more square one. I would buy these again instead of the level ones. Cushion was nice also. They all seem same on putting together, not hard.
